Pastor Raggie has been the Pastor at Holy Cross Lutheran Church since 1996.  Among her primary responsibilities are coordinating the ministry and personell at Holy Cross and the overall vision for Worship life.

Kenneth Zagare, Minister of Music

Kenny has been at Holy Cross since January 2006, and leads our worship choir, festival choir, and junior choir.  He received his BM in Music Education from the Crane School of Music, and completed his MS in Education at SUNY Stony Brook.  He sings with the eVoco vocal ensemble which tours Long Island giving concerts.  He is also the choral director at Malverne High School in Nassau County. 

 

 

Barbara Drewes, Church Administrator

Barbara joined the family of Holy Cross in November 1999 and has participated in many special projects and shared in various ministries including choir, the Church Council and Outreach. She became Church Administrator in February 2008

Mary Beth Heinicke -

Technology Administrator

& CSW, Eldercare

Mary Beth is a confirmation teacher at Holy Cross, in addition to her duties as Technology Administrator.  She is an elder care social worker and feels blessed to be

part of the Holy Cross staff.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Kathy Stuerzel, Bookkeeper

Kathy has been a member of Holy Cross since 2003 and became the church bookkeeper in 2014.  She also volunteers with the Outreach and Lanscaping Ministries.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Anne Biondo, Church Sexton

Anne has been a member of the church for many years.  She served on the Noah's Ark Preschool Board, and sang with the choir, in addition to serving as the fellowship hall sexton for 11 years.  In addition, she has been running the meal madness program for confirmation for over four years.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Robert Wottawa, Sound Technician

 Rob Wottawa is currently the Director of Art and Music in the East Islip School District.  He previously was the Department Chair of Art, Family & Consumer Science, and Music, as well as the 9/10 Choral director in the Longwood School District.  He earned his Doctorate of Education at Long Island University, Post Campus, and defended his dissertation: Expert Advice From Mentor Teachers to Improve First-Year Teachers' Teaching and First-Year Experience.
