The Band MFGB is an intense collection of talent, energy and spirit that came together seemingly out of nowhere. Actually, it was a long series of parallel events that led up to the creation of this Long Island rock and blues flavored Gospel band. Eileen Hill, Henry Goode, Jay Romero, Bobby Corso, Billy Quaresimo, Virginia and Charlie Ward, and family and friends - all from different backgrounds and influences - all came together in creating their unique and engagingly energetic sound as Mission From God Band.
Come On Down - Open Mike Time & Worship Come on down to Holy Cross to share your talent... a faith based place to share your joy in the Lord and join other talents in expressing their faith.
4:00 to 5:00 pm - Open Mike Time: Whether you are a beginner or a pro, a Kumbayah kommando or a hardcore heavyweight, a rockin' robin or a disco diva, all tasteful material is welcome. The open session will serve as an audition for the follow-up hour for faith-based performers to appear and perform the next hour...
5:00 to 6:00 pm - Jam Sessions: There is music, entertainment, videos and more. Open sessions will be an audition for faith-based performers to appear the next hour... full of fun, entertainment and faith stimulating videos - praising God and worship beyond.
6:00 pm - Our worship is called REACH: 21st Century: Reaching higher, reaching wider, reaching deeper. For more information call 631-588-9509 or just come on down and speak with Charlie or Virginia. You'll enjoy some Christian fellowship.
