Elder Care Ministries - including Holy Cross’ extended worship families at The Lake Shore Assisted Living Facility in Lake Ronkonkoma, at The Arbors Assisted Living Facility in Bohemia and at the Wittridge Home for Adults in Lake Ronkonkoma. Worship services at Lake Shore are held each Sunday at 11:00 am and also on special Holy Days. Worship services at The Arbors are held each Saturday at 10:00 am and also on special holy days. The traveling worship team is led by Deacon Christine Thompson. The team provides a Holy Communion liturgy each week. Team members have been specially trained to provide a homily each week. There is time to gather prayers before the service begins and sometimes there is special music. When Pastor Raggie is able (such as at Thanksgiving, Ash Wednesday, Christmas morning, etc.) she provides her presence there, too! What a joy it is to express the love of God and the HCLC ministry with the good people of this facility, a joy we have experienced now for more than 7 years.
