God has blessed us with an opportunity to teach His children about His grace - His unearned, unmerited, unconditional love for His people. We do this with much joy and enthusiasm and with great care. Education Ministries at Holy Cross consists of Baptism, Sunday School, First Holy Communion classes, Confirmation, Active Children’s Time in the Summer (A.C.T.S.), Vacation Bible Camp and Adult Christian Education classes. Sunday School and Confirmation teachers are always welcome and it requires only a couple of hours on Sunday morning or Monday evening to help spread the Good News to our children and teens. You may teach, assist or join a teaching team. A.C.T.S., Sunday morning Christian activity time, is offered all through the summer when Sunday School is not in session. Vacation Bible Camp is offered one week during the summer, and teens and adults are always needed to assist with classes, crafts, snacks, etc. Janice Savarese is our Education Ministries Chairperson. RALLY DAY 2008... Wow! What a Rally Day celebration we had as we welcomed all our younger students back to Sunday School! Here Pastor Raggie holds the rapt attention of her “kiddos” during the Children’s Sermon (and the attention of the rest of the congregation, we might add). All children are welcome to gather ’round the altar at this time for a simple Bible Study and prayers with Pastor Raggie. Parents - feel free to accompany your shy ones. Pastor offers a Children’s Sermon every Sunday during the 9:00 am Worship Service.
