Confirmation is celebrated in the Spring on Palm Sunday for students completing all three levels of Confirmation classes.
Confirmation Calendar - Upcoming Activities
DECEMBER 22nd - Confirmation Christmas Caroling... It’s our annual Confirmation Class Christmas Caroling in the church neighborhood and to the Lake Shore Assisted Living Facility. Bring your voices! Bring your enthusiasm! Bring your warm hats and gloves! Parents and families are welcome to join us, as are all members of our Holy Cross family. Join us for dinner at Meal Madness in the Fellowship Hall at 6:15 pm before we leave. Meet back at the church afterward for ice cream! Since we are going off campus, we require a signed permission slip. Please click the link below for a printable copy.

SAFETY PICK-UP INSTRUCTIONS - Parents - Please park and come into the church to pick up your children. We have a very busy parking lot, and as the evenings grow darker it can be difficult to see. We do not want anyone to get hurt.
CONFIRMATION T-SHIRTS... Each teen participating in our Confirmation Program gets one, FREE. They are to be worn when we do activities. You may wear them at any other time too. Parents you may purchase one at CrossWords & Gifts. Anyone, in fact, may purchase one. They say DISCIPLE, come in black and are very “in” or very “kool.” By the way they fit really well too.!
CONFIRMATION PARENT FORUM - Now Ongoing!!!... If your child is in our Confirmation program you are being invited to attend a Forum with Pastor Raggie to discuss the program, see what your concerns are for your child in their everyday life and what you need help with in your spiritual journey. We’ll get to know each other, laugh together and learn together. Originally intended for a length of 3 weeks, Pastor’s Parent Forum has been extended to “Ongoing” status at the request of the parents. The Parent Forum is held each Monday night that Confirmation classes are in session, at the same time that class is held (7:00 to 8:15 pm).
Casting Crowns Car Wash Fundraiser... for the Confirmation kids was a huge success. They washed lots of cars and received many great free-will offerings. These monies are going to help defray the costs of the Casting Crowns Concert they are attending in December. Here are some pics of our teens and leaders scrubbing autos to raise $$$ toward our trip.

Confirmation
Education - Confirmation is the personal reaffirmation of the promises
made at Baptism; to journey through life with God at our center. 2008-2009 Confirmation
Classes have begun with a new, revised program! We meet every Monday night (following the Sachem
School District calendar) from 7:00 pm to 8:15 pm. If you are in 7th, 8th
or 9th grade and have not registered, please see Tom Moldovan. There is
a registration fee of $35 for each Level.
Checks should be made payable to Holy Cross (HCLC). Level 1 students will be provided with a Bible, Level 2 and 3
students - if you cannot find your Bible, we have them
on sale in the bookstore. Check your
e-mail for additional info on events, class cancellations
due to weather, and activities.
