and do not lean on your own understanding.

In all your ways acknowledge him,

Cross.wmf (1830 bytes)Christian Baptism - Making little disciples in Christ. We are born children of a fallen humanity, in the waters of Baptism we are reborn children of God and inheritors of eternal life. By water and the Holy Spirit we are made members of the Church which is the body of Christ.

What is the Sacrament of Holy Baptism?... a child is lovingly brought to the waters of Holy Baptism to be marked with the sign of the cross, claimed by God, washed and renewed through the power of the Holy Spirit and God’s Word. It is the entry into the FAMILY OF GOD. Through baptism God adopts each of us as his child, brings us into relationship with him and so begins eternal life for each and everyone one of us. Baptism is the gateway, a personal entrance into a life of faith; devotion, growth and steady strengthening in the journey of faith. In Baptism we become a child of God’s and because he is Father, and we are his children then we are brothers and sisters one to another, living in fellowship, love and care for one another.
