Noah's Ark Preschool is a state licensed preschool program with both morning and afternoon sessions for your convenience. We admit students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin. Our Preschool Program is a ministry of service, fellowship and evangelism shared through Christian nurturing of young children and their families in our community. This distinctively Christian emphasis promotes excellence in education by engaging children in age-appropriate curriculum with both group and individual interaction. As members of the Family of God, we share our faith and joy in Christ by nurturing the spiritual, psychological, emotional and social needs of each unique child of God in a safe, healthy and loving environment.

LOOKING FOR A PRESCHOOL?... Noah’s Ark Preschool of Holy Cross has an outstanding three and four year-old program. Please call 631-588-2942 and speak with our Director, Barbara Lusky.
NOAH’S ARK BOARD HIGHLIGHTS... as always the Director gives her report, filling us in the day to day workings of the school and sharing with us the curriculum developed for the next month. She keeps us informed as to the great things that are happening and the difficulties if there are any. The challenge our school meets for 2008-2009 is that of enrollment since Sachem School District is offering free preschool 5 days a week. It will be done by lottery and made available to 250 children. Many families are holding off registering their child hoping to get into the free program. So enrollment for next year stands at 95. At this time last year it was 135. This will impact the finances of the church dramatically. We are looking into other programs to offer such as a Mommy and Me program, an Enrichment Program and maybe even a double session program. Everything is being explored. We are also holding an item of the month opportunity three times in the year for paper goods. With the Naier program we anticipate a savings in ordering products too! And finally NAPS is up and running with e mail addresses so that we can more efficiently notify parents and families of the school happenings as well as the church happenings.
