2012 - A Brand New Year!
Dear Friends in Christ,
As we look to the New Year, we need to look back only a few days to the birth of Hope and Comfort, the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who is Emmanuel, God with us. This means that we are not alone in our journey of life, but have a Lord who is personally involved in our lives, going before us paving the way.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord, “plans for good and not evil, to give you a future and a hope.” - Jeremiah 29:11.
Let us praise God for the indescribable gift of His Son, Jesus Christ; born in a manger; died on a cross; Who was raised from the dead so that we might have power-filled, forgiven lives. Let us go forward in this new year with a fresh resolve and with renewed enthusiasm to live our lives as if the greatest adventure is about to unfold. For it is! The adventure of living is a gift from God, the author and source of our lives, all that we have and are about.
He will go with us - “Fear not, I am with you. Do not be dismayed, I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you.” - Isaiah 41:10a.
And He will bless us - “And my God will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.” - Philippians 4:19.
May God bless you and hold you in the palm of His hand now and always. God bless you in the new year.
