OUR

MISSION STATEMENT

“HELPING PEOPLE TO KNOW AND SHARE THE LOVE OF CHRIST,” is what helps us to express our ministry here in the community. Very simply stated it says that we are about helping anyone who desires to be on a faith journey to come to know the amazing love, the grace of God who is in the gift of Jesus Christ, who died on the cross for all people and then share that gift, that understanding, that joy, that message with others.

Get it...

      Got it....

             Give it away!!!!

LOOKING FOR

MEANING AND PURPOSE?

Aren’t we all? God invites us to know him and his love and in so doing we will find meaning and purpose in our living. According to Pastor Rick Warren in his book, The Purpose Driven Life, there are 5 purposes God has given us for our living: We are created to bring pleasure, glory and honor to God. We are created to live in the fellowship of God’s eternal family. We are to grow in becoming more Christ like in our character. We are called to serve others by using our gifted-ness from God. We are created to introduce others to Jesus Christ.

How can we do this? Glad you asked... God provides us the church – HIS CHURCH – in which to live out these 5 purposes. Look around, there is lots going on and many ways for you to live out the 5 purposes for your life and thereby honor God with who you are and what you are about. Life will be rich and full, and loving and purposeful. Come worship, come serve, come learn and come be in fellowship with other believers.

Pentecost Sunday

We celebrate Pentecost Sunday on May 19th and are encouraging everyone to wear red to church on this Sunday. Pentecost represents God’s gracious, enabling presence actively at work among His people, calling and enabling them to live out in dynamic ways the witness of being His people. The red symbolizes both the fire of Pentecost as well as the apostles and early followers of Jesus who were gathered in the Upper Room for the empowerment from God to proclaim the Gospel throughout the world. Please join us for worship at either 9:00 or 11:00 am.
