OUR
MISSION STATEMENT
“HELPING PEOPLE
TO KNOW AND
SHARE THE LOVE OF CHRIST,” is what helps us to express
our ministry here in the community. Very simply stated it
says that we are about helping anyone who desires to be on a
faith journey to come to know the amazing love, the grace of
God who is in the gift of Jesus Christ, who died on the
cross for all people and then share that gift, that
understanding, that joy, that message with others.
Get
it...
Got it....
Give it away!!!!

LOOKING
FOR
MEANING AND PURPOSE?
Aren’t we all? God
invites us to know him and his love and in so doing we will
find meaning and purpose in our living. According to Pastor
Rick Warren in his book, The Purpose Driven Life,
there are 5 purposes God has given us for our living: We are
created to bring pleasure, glory and honor to God. We are
created to live in the fellowship of God’s eternal family.
We are to grow in becoming more Christ like in our
character. We are called to serve others by using our
gifted-ness from God. We are created to introduce others to
Jesus Christ.
How can we do this? Glad you asked...
God provides us the church – HIS CHURCH – in which to live
out these 5 purposes. Look around, there is lots going on
and many ways for you to live out the 5 purposes for your
life and thereby honor God with who you are and what you are
about. Life will be rich and full, and loving and
purposeful. Come worship, come serve, come learn and come be
in fellowship with other believers.

Ash Wednesday
Evening Service
February 22nd
at 7:00 pm
Imposition of ashes from 6:30 pm to
7:00 pm and immediately following the service
Ash Wednesday is the first day of
Lent. We will mark this day with a special Worship Service at 7:00
pm during which there will be the consecration of hands. From 6:30
pm to 7:00 pm and immediately following the service, there will be
the imposition of ashes. The imposition of ashes reminds us of our
humanity - from dust we come and to dust we shall return. Yet as we
take that faith journey through Lent to Easter, we as Christians
come to a greater realization that death is not the end of the story
- it is life through the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus
Christ. Join us and re-commit yourself....to your to God.
For a full schedule of Lenten
worship opportunities, please see our
Lenten Worship Schedule.
